Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures (including restorative procedures, extractions, implants, root canal therapy, etc.)
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examination

- Take dental X-rays

- Make provisional crowns

- Assist with dental implant placing and small surgeries
- Perform dental charting and documentation
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment

-Certification for nitrous oxide

-Proficient in digital scanning

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) preferred
- Knowledge of dental coding and terminology
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Experience assisting with CAD/CAM systems is a plus
- Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Ability to accurately take and develop dental X-rays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of dental anatomy
